Sudeep and Anupama Gowda emerged as the Best Actor and Best Actress, respectively. Sudeep’s powerful performance in the sports drama Pailwan and Anupama’s gripping portrayal in the thriller Trayambakam have truly left a mark on audiences and the industry alike.
Veteran filmmaker P. Sheshadri’s Mohandas was awarded the Best Film, showcasing his continued mastery in storytelling. Adding to its accolades, the film also won Best Art Direction (Hosmane Murthy) and Best Cinematography (G.S. Bhaskar).
The hit romantic comedy Love Mocktail, directed by and starring Darling Krishna, took home multiple honors, including Second Best Film, Best Screenplay, and Best Playback Singer (Male) for Raghu Dixit. The film’s heartfelt narrative and memorable music have resonated with audiences across Karnataka.
Nagathihalli Chandrashekar’s India vs England was named the Best Popular Film, while Kanneri received the award for Best Film on Social Cause, recognizing its meaningful contribution to cinema with a message.
V. Harikrishna, known for his work in Yajamana, won the Best Music Director award for his soulful compositions. This marks yet another milestone in his illustrious career.
